Created in partnership with the Fédération des gens d'affaires francophones de l'Ontario (FGA), La Cité College and the RGA, Mentorat RésOntario is the reference in mentoring for entrepreneurs in Francophone Ontario and an essential economic development tool.
In order to ensure quality and effective support, Mentorat RésOntario has set up a unique program of development workshops and recognition of prior learning for mentors, through Réseau Mentorat, whose expertise is recognized across the country. This program, offered by our partner Collège La Cité, includes the following elements

  • Are you an entrepreneur with more than 5 years of business experience, including managing employees?

Mentoring in our view

Mentoring for entrepreneurs focuses on the person running the business. It is a free coaching relationship based on trust and mutual respect, governed by rules, a code of ethics and a confidentiality agreement. It is a proven approach, the result of several decades of experience. This partnership allows both the mentor and the mentee to be confronted with different experiences and to learn from them professionally.

What is a mentor?

Being a mentor means supporting and accompanying entrepreneurs towards success, thanks to your experience. Your commitment is to create and maintain a human relationship in which the mentee will feel comfortable sharing without fear of being judged. Your role is to accompany the entrepreneur in his reflection and to guide him so that he finds his own answers and enables him to acquire better business reflexes.
